I have not been eating enough protein for this to work well. No wonder I have been having such trouble...

Hi Sally I checked mine and I suppose it is averaging out at around 50% give or take You are loosing weight though steadily going in the right direction, do you actually need to meet 100% of this on your diet if not what would you say you need to set as your protien goal daily? Maybe between us we could think of ways to help :)

I don't know on the protein intake amount daily?? One thing I noticed is that if I don't eat the egg whites, veg. and a piece of lite bread w/ all fruit jam for breakfast like today, I am searching for stuff to eat not too long later!! I was getting tired of making them so ate nut butter unsalted for the protein and oatmeal old fashioned. The protein was not as high and I really could tell the difference! Yesterday was good and I was in the 60's for mg. for the day and a fair amount spread out pretty evenly. It is mg, right?? I could ask that Nutritionist when I go. I better start making a list :). Also with the LA Weight Loss plan I was shorting out on the protein. They have a list of the amount of protein for the day and they consider this for instance for the two required servings for the day: 7 oz. cooked chicken breast and 4 egg whites. There are many possibilities of course. if I was eating egg whites and chicken for the day, I was probably doing 3 egg whites and 2-3 oz chicken, which was NOT doin' it! When I did LA before I was never hungry and lost close to that 30 lbs when I followed the plan. I have stalled in the weight loss for about 2 1/2 weeks and I think that is why. I was not filled up enough with the same calories if that makes sense. I look forward to seeing your weight loss! I am excited you got a scale. Enjoy your night tonite!

Hi Sally not sure if it is mg or g as you say best to ask the expert. Eggs are a great source of protien but routine can become boring need to look for an alternative have you thought about beans/ pulses if you cook from fresh they can be precooked and kept refrigerated or tinned or frozen, then you could try poached egg with say spinach and just alternate. Bananas are a good source of pottasium and are slow releasing and this would help you to feel full for longer, you could consider a smoothie of high protein plus other supplements. Personally I dont think you can beat some of the old favourites for me its porridge oats :) list are a good thing BUT you must remember to cross things off otherwise it just a waste :) Did you not recorde your diet from before maybe you need to do a comparison, I dont know how long ago it has been sine you did but u must also consider where you are now in your life, when I was in my 20s I could eat anything and not worry about weight but not so now :) My daughter is teying to work out her intolerance takes some time but she insists that every morning she has 2/3 eggs with ham and tomatoes, keeps her going through the morning with no snacking but she is only 29 :) Thank you the meal pushed my calories up up and away lol but it was nice to have time with friends and a meal I did not have to cook I will now have to be very good because monday morning will be weigh in day ohhh scarey. Keep positive and will speak soon
