Ugh.. ate too many nuts during lunch.. while munching on my soup I made for dinner last night. Oh, but they were so good. I'll just have to go light the rest of the day. It's insane how much nuts are worth in fat and calories, for 1 ounce. INSANE, I TELL YA!

Update 8:15pm CST: Yeah.. I only had one serving of veg today, and that's killed me.. I feel so heavy.. well, that and the cookies and cereal didn't help. But tomorrow will be better.. I probably won't record another weigh in until Friday..just to be safe..lol. I don't like facing the numbers after a bad day. I'm going to work out tonight after Owen heads to bed.. I'm very disappointed.. I got my Carmen electra dvd in, and it doesn't even freaking work! I waited almost 2 weeks for that stupid thing, and I tried it in 3 dvd players: Didn't play. Seriously, I'm glad I only paid $6 and some change for it.. and not full price. I'd be even more peeved. That's okay..I'll try it out tonight on ON DEMAND.. see how I like it, and if I do, then I'll buy it from there.. Wish me luck

My husband used to munch on almonds or walnuts all day long at work and wondered why he was gaining weight! I showed him the calories/fat/points and he was shocked! Now he limits himself to a small amount and takes them into account in his daily eating. It has made a big difference!

I love them too but have to watch. I have a weakness for cheese, so in comparison, nuts aren't THAT bad. It's just keeping busy and finding ways to distract ourselves from the snacking that's the key. I have found that various drinks sometimes do the trick.

nuts (mostly almonds) are my kryptonite! I package them up in serving sizes and my hubby hides them from me in a secret place. He only gives me one serving a day! They are healthy fats but we all know that its "over-indulgence" that's the killer.
