Slept in this morning (late appt) - left appt - thought about stopping in a McDonalds to get lunch - would have been a worse combo option and coffee with all the fixins. Drove on (I was on the phone).

The closer I approach the office - the hungrier I became. Burger. That's what I want. Do I really want to wait for any length of time for it to be prepared. No.

Filled up gas tank and Burger King won out - conveniently located right across the road. Normally I wouldn't stop at fast food for a burger, but again - see paragraph B! Whip into the drive thru - and there are too many selections.

"May I help you?" Turkey burger combo. (it had burger in it, and it's turkey so maybe it's better for me - or I can believe it will be) "What size combo? Small, medium or large?" (OOOOOHHHH the temptation!) Small. "And to drink?" Diet Coke. (I thought I was cutting back on caffeine...apparently not today) "Thank you, please pull around." WHEW!!! I made it through the temptations of the drive thru where every picture looks amazing (quite deceptive when you get your smushed burger with the mayo that you forgot to tell them to leave off is oozing out the sides...making it quite the challenge to keep the lone tomato slice between the burger and the bread)

Then I put it in my food journal....HAH! Snack time today will be sad...Meal replacement shake for supper (I am going to visitation for my cousin's family...and that will help cover the stomach growling). Working out tonight - (I got home really late last night and then stayed up talking with my hubby). Treadmill listening to The Hobbit and two sessions of Turbo Fire. Then it will be night-night time and start over the next morning --- just doing the workout tomorrow morning versus bumping it to the evening hours! Well, come to think of it - warrior kickboxing will be tomorrow night - so I will be doubling up on working out again this week....with an addition of Saturday doing Kenpo X (P90x) since I forgot to bring it home with me to do this morning!

Lunch gone now---Diet Coke gone - now to start water and bringing my reality back to healthy eating. Figured overall I really didn't do so terribly bad. Let's face it, I definitely could have done worse!!! :)

You sure could have done worse, it's hard to keep it together and not order bad in the drive thru. And, it seems like you've got the rest of the day figured out, so you'll be okay. Sounds like you are doing monster workouts, so that's great!! I'm going to have to order Turbo Fire for my next workout. 28 more days until I'm done with Insanity! I hope the rest of the day goes well and you don't have to deal with any more temptations. :)

I actually look forward to working out -- it's been quite the day. Found out earlier the caterer for my husband and my wedding in 2009 just passed - she had a blood clot that went to her heart - while waiting on getting a liver transplant. Guess God needed an amazing caterer in Heaven!
