Happy Easter! Went to church with the family and shared a family dinner at O'Charley's, which is totally different than what we normally do. I have to say, it wasn't too bad! We got there before the big rush, which is always a plus. The kids were on their best behavior, which isn't the case most of the time, and my sister left a gracious tip, which is normally not the case. I kept waiting around to see how long it to took for her to send her food back for some stupid reason, but she didn't. I can honestly say, things went great!

As for my efforts this week, not too great. I can go all day strictly on point and as soon as its time for bed.... My mind starts wandering... Hey, something sweet would be good about this time. It got so bad Sat., I actually left and went to Krispie Kreme for donuts.

WTF! ... I cannot keep doing this. I am setting myself up to fail. Its like I'm playing good angel bad angel in my head.

Right now, the bad angel is winning.... Hands down!

Lord help me believe like I did before. Help me fight these food demons in my mind. I do know all things are possible thru you! I just need a sign.....

Glad you had a Happy Easter. I am a Pastry Zombie, I tell myself all the way to the bakery, No I'm not going to get a cheese danish, and 5 minutes later I'm at the check out with a cheese danish. Then it's I'll have it with my tea for breakfast, and two hours later I'm having it for dessert. Somebody's gotta come out with a Tic Tac that tastes like a Krispy Kreme donut.

Glad you had such a nice Easter! Today's another day & chance to start again... In fact it's another month! Take it one day at a time, or maybe one nighttime craving. It helps me to think of it as closing the kitchen after dinner, I brush my teeth & settle in with a good book or tv show. Have a great day!

Night time is my worst time for wanting food. I have been noshing on pork rinds some nights.I am getting sick/grossed out by them though lately. I had swiss and salami rolled up and pork rinds! Still not gaining.Hoping to loose something by wed.

you're not alone! I find it takes one night to either get me on track or lose it for a few days. Try praying, and doing something to keep your hands busy - paint your nails, craft or something like that.

Maybe the start of a new month will help refresh our determination to get rid of those food demons.

Yolanda, try to look back at last spring and figure out what you were thinking, how were you able to motivate yourself. I know you can do it! You know how now......I know restarting is difficult, but you still have time to get off some weight before summer so you can enjoy being outside. Try getting some new ingredients and doing some healthy baking; that is what I do to help get started. I bake some healthy goodies for those evenings that I need a treat. Blessings on your journey!
