So not sticking to the induction stage of Atkins very well at all. I am eating fruit and other random things like popcorn.

I loooove fruit. I am still committed to starting this diet but I will just have to start again tomorrow. Weekends are going to be hard for me.

I have sweets cravings so fruit satisfies that. I am just starting this diet and calories are still low without being hungry so I dont see that its a huge deal at this point.

My boyfriend has said to me that im looking so different and looking pretty hot and wanting to show me off to random people he knows. Im asking him to explain what he means and he says just something about me...so Its a good sign im taking good care of me.

I am proud of myself for eating popcorn and having a fruit smoothie at the movie theater instead of getting shit-faced at my friends bonfire with second hand smoke choking the life out of me. So yeah I wont feel guilty about the fruit smoothie made of real fruit and the popcorn I had for dinner while out with a friend, just because I didnt stick to 20 grams of carbs...I was still less than 100 carbs and made the healthy choice.

Nothing to feel guilty about. As a rule of thumb; I like to keep my carbs in check, but for me it's simply not realistic nor do I want to keep all carbs out of my regular diet - especially fruit. We all have to find what works best for us and hopefully it is a plan that we can carry over when we're in the maintenance phase; otherwise known as the rest of your life.

Hello Josie, I agree with you. I think the induction phase is to burn the fat off but at the same time I was thinking about all of the delicious fruits id miss out on.
