I haven't been following south beach diet hardly at all because it is sooooo expensive to buy a lot of meat SIGH but I have been trying to eat at least lower calories and trying not to eat too many bad foods ie ice cream etc. So I haven't lost but I haven't gained which is still cause to celebrate :) So I'm staying positive and hopefully I'll be able to start losing again soon.
250.0 lb Lost so far: 20.0 lb.    Still to go: 105.0 lb.    Diet followed poorly.

I've been buying the bags of frozen chicken breast on sale for about $7, and there's quite a bit in there. :) I goto stores like winco, walmart, safeway, etc. I understand the fincial difficulties of eating healthy, believe you me! I have also found 1 lb rolls of frozen ground turkey for 1 to $1.50 a lb. Hope that might help! :) Also, big bags off frozen veggies are cheaper than fresh or canned, too.

yes it does stink, doesn't it, so much cheaper to eat junk!!! LOL!!!! It is, I KNOW IT!!!! But...........I find if i buy BIG protions of ....like chicken", prepare that, all of it, different ways on a day when i am off, pack them into containers, so i can, heat in microw. or stove top, and eat......add a salad, and i am good, its the day to day, of if i need to figure out what to eat.........thats when i mess up!!! IF i take ONE DAY A WEEK, and PREP myself for the days ahead,i do GREAT!! I did that today, plus made a ton of veggie soup over a week ago-put inot small dishes in the frig and freezer and thats a BIG help there too.........hope that may give you some sort of ideas to help you stay on track, hey we are in this together!!!!!!! Also, think of it as an investment in your future health. Less money you will spend later on medical bills. That convinced me.
