Woke up early this morning and feeling great. I must be sleeping better or something but I jumped out of bed at 5:30 made my coffee and waited for it to be light enough to drive into work. The big old full moon was setting as I was driving in and it was hard not to be distracted by it. Had to keep an eye out for deer, this time of the morning is when they are on the move. Last month a car flashed their lights at me and as I was wondering why I saw the deer on the edge of the road. Thought what a great idea, let people know that there are deer ahead. Started doing that myself and hope it will catch on. Sure enough seen two herds, one just getting ready to cross.

Last night on the Daily Show seen an interview with the guy who wrote "Fat Sugar Salt" It turns out that there is a bunch of people who have devoted their lives to finding the most addictive taste and textures possible. They are not evil people trying to ruin your health, its all about profit. If you can get someone addicted to your product and get them eating large amounts of it your profits increase. Low nutrient prcessed food keep much better than fresh and are heavily subsitidized it is in their best interest to focus on that area. Interestly enough the people who develope these food do not eat them...probable because they know whats in them and how they are meant to trick your taste buds into craving them. Cheetos, one of my weaknesses, is made in such a way that it disolves in your mouth making you feel like you didn't eat anything at all so you should eat more. Have to get that book.

I love to wake up feeling great..I think my weekness is food in general..LOL..there is not much that I don't like to eat...I gues my worst is corn chips..had to quit eating them as I broke a tooth off..Oh well..Have a great day...:O)

Wow - I may have to get that book too! I'd 'sort of' seen that same confession or revealing in the movie 'Hungry for Change' about chemicals used to keep folks addicted to foods ~ why not, worked for tobacco, right?? Yep, cheetos - soooo misleading esp the puffy ones. The crunchy ones sort of take a little more time but not much. The full moon - so many of my buddies commenting on it and I missed it. I find it so, I dunno, connecting with the rest of the world to think 'hey, no matter who or where we are ...we're all looking at and sharing this same moon'. The headlight flash, good to know it was deer. Around here they do that when the Highway patrol is up ahead with a speed trap; nice to know it has a nature 'look out' purpose too. Your journal sounded happy ~ maybe that very 'hey, it's not my fault' you realized last night watching the show is relieving you of a burden and giving you energy! Have a great rest of your day. I wish I saw the show, I believe it 1000% Some foods just feel like a drug when it goes in your mouth. I know I flash my lights and have ever since I started driving if I see a cop hiding trying to catch speeders, it warns them to slow down. I would probably do it for a deer too, especially for a MOOSE! :-) Sounds like you are getting back on track! WHOOT.
