Ran in the snow flurries today. It was pretty encouraging being out there almost alone. I was like, "HA, people are probably driving by thinking 'that girl is crazy' or 'that girl's got some serious commitment!'" Both would be funny!

Passed this girl running the opposite direction of me. She's not a girl actually, she's a grown woman with the body of my bff from middle school. Petite with stick legs maybe ways 100 pounds soak and wet. Anyhow, I've seen her before and she's got a mean pace. Today, she was really noticeable in her shorts, long sleeve shirt, and mittens. She's probably a competitive runner, so I won't joke too much...

I passed by my favorite traffic cop and I was like, "that lady needs to put some clothes on." He was like, "that lady needs to sit down and eat" Bwah hahahhahahahaha :)

It is still snowing where I am at! I wish I had the determination to run in the snow... or run period! Keep up the good work!

Not everyone is meant to run. If I didn't have a history with running, then I'd probably pass it up for some other form of exercise. I've been running since the 8th grade. I'm just not nearly as good as I was, and I'm so much heavier. But it is an inspiration for me to have experiences to reflect on which help my motivation now.

That super skinny girl sounds like the girl my son knows that is a tri-athlete. You know the ones that do the three exercise indurence runs. Told my son if she was any skinnier she'd have to drink muddy water so you couldn't see through her, Hubby says she needs to eat a couple cheeseburgers. I said yeah everyday. Skinny legs and no boobs

Its so much harder to run when its cold. Good for you braving the flurries! Every little helps. I have been running for years now & I am still only a little faster then when I started. I just like being out there! :)

Ha! Muddy water!!! Yeah, my bff had a thyroid problem and I think it prevented her from storing fat, but she had so much lean muscle that she could sprint sprint sprint all day. She used to wear really padded bras, but she was such a great personality that the lack of boobs could be forgotten. Scmetterling, I just admitted to myself this week, that running is my thing. I think I spent so much time trying to be well-rounded that I lost focus. Running is what I know, so...run. I think being on foot is the best way to explore, and running gets me out in it.
