FullaBella's Journal, 26 March 2013

So the 'new layout ' of the food diary is a challenge on my Kindle ... is it just me? I'd just vetoed the 8.9 one last night saying 'meh., the 7" is fine...' this morning not so much! Think FS has stock in Kindle? How is it for the Iphone folk?

Hi Bella, congrats on your significant and amazing weight loss but more importantly (surprisingly) on your amazing internal journey and the delights and wonders you are finding along the way. I just can't express how happy/proud I am of you/for you. I am in awe of your amazing journey girl. Onwards and downwards - in weight that is :)

Oh, I don't use FS on anything other than a computer so can't comment on your Kindle question.

I use the FS app on my iPad which syncs with my PC and it's quite good. Sorry, I can't help on the Kindle front.

I only ever used the MyFitnessPal food diary as I found it a lot easier than the FS one. So I'm not much help... unless you wanted to try a different diary, in which case I do recommend the MFP one.

My laptop is on its last leg...was considering a Kindle...should I not? As for FS, I should have know that if I had the food diary figured out it would change. Hopefully it will be better and have more foods listed. BTW what is in Sunday Soup?

LOL - Thanks everyone. I must be the only Kindle user - no wonder FS changed; I'm in the minority and I just don't count :-) Then again, I'm not liking the diary so much on my netbook either - I used to be able to go out to 'whatever I had for dinner last night' and select that and just flip the meal to 'lunch' for the left overs and viola, food entered. NOW that doesn't seem possible. Yikes. Then again - maybe this is just FS telling me it's time to move to instinctive eating and stop adding up calories? Or is it telling me I've been a little fast & furious with the food lately and slow down? If this doesn't gel in my mind soon I'll be looking at MFP ... Sandi - Sunday soup was just soup I made on Sunday but entered it as a meal then food to get an idea for the overall nutritional makeup / breakdwon as I used turkey sausage instead of chicken. Specifically it was the TS, spinach, beef bullion, okra, corn, tomato and onion; decent calorie and nutrition but a little too high in sodium because of the processed okra/corn/tomato in it. Sooo looking forward to the Farmers market and abundant fresh veggies.... what was the question?

When I am on my tablet (android) or phone, I often go to the FULL website, using a web browser. I don't know if the kindle uses web browser or only apps. I use android app or comuter to enter food, which is nice. Hope your doing well this week!

Oh, I just added food here online computer for the first time, yes, it is different! I bet the little pulldown menues that popup don't show well on a small screen. On my android, the app isn't like that at all, it is fairly easy. Hmmm wish I was more help.

I want my favorite meals back. One click and I was done most of the time (yes, I am boring and a creature of habit).

Kindle uses web browser too and while I've signed into the other country sites now and then to clear the weight recording issue I find the food database is different ~ sigh, this too shall take some adjusting but is definitely going to have me rethinking the larger kindle or eating less for a few days, LOL.

RiverRes I still have My Favorite Meals on the right... Are you missing it? Grrr, getting use to this just when we are all losing weight. LOL Hey FS, we don't need any more stress:-)
