I had a nice, easy run today out in the cold wind. Had to wear the gloves, and I'm so glad to have them - phew!!! My lungs are tired from breathing in that cold air, that's a funny feeling.

I still have pain in the spot above my ankle, but its different today. When I stopped running, the injury didn't start aching. Usually, its sore when I run and aches heavily when I stop running. No ache!

Just wish I could run.Will be happy when I can join the rec center.then I can swim and exercise in the pool till I lose enough to try the track and lift weights and do the floor exercises. might try yoga too when I go they have a yoga that you do in a chair and the girl says it is so easy and it really limbers you up. Been pretty good at keeping calorie count in line having a little trouble with the carbs.Keep up the running and try to limit your carbs see if that helps.

My coworker - the one who lost 85 pounds by committing to eating healthy and being active - started off walking for 30 minutes. She had not desire to run. One day she felt the inkling to run a few steps. Now, she still calls herself a walker, but she runs several days a week on her break as well. She was my encouragement to workout on my lunch break. Also, I run because I can't afford a gym membership right now. I had to take a drastic paycut to move here, so I keep up my standard of living by taking up low cost/no cost activities.

Yeah thats why I have to wait to join the rec center. Till I turn 65 and go on the same insurance that my hubby is on then silver sneakers will pay for the membership.Of course I'm going to be even more in the hole because when I GO ON SOCIAL SECURITY I'LL LOSE ABOUT 175.00 A MONTH OVER MY DISABILITY. And we barely make it now have to cut back even more.
