I have not journal-ed in a few days. I have been distracted. But not with food--of course! I tried to Fast today. For me I think it went well. It is late, I got hungry, had a "healthy snack". One of my FS buddies asked me why the Fast. For of my challenges is the 5:2 Eat Stop Eat. I am not able to Fast 2 days a week. I do it one day on the weekend. At first I wasn't sure I would like doing it. But it has been a learning experience. When I Fast, I am very much aware of what goes in my mouth. This behavior has continued through out the week. Now I am always aware of what I am eating....more aware of the bad things! I read the labels on foods now too. I am still a Weight Watcher member, watch my points, except for this one day a week. I also (to copy a FS buddy) think I might start journaling the points of foods I have. Well, that's about it for me tonight. Good Nite FS world!!!

good idea I hadnt thought of fasting as a way to greater awarness. Ive found that after a fast Im starved and find it even harder to stay on course. All in the way we think and apply. like you stragey.
