I have been so stressed and failed severly at following the diet plan. I have a hint of depression bc my husband wont be leaving Japan until August and I have to pack up the house and move the kids across the country to California alone. God help me. My baby brother is having open heart surgery on Tuesday and he has alot of medical problems and is high risk. I can do this. I think.

You CAN do this. Mostly because you have to, but also because you would be one step closer to having him home. One step at a time. You are the Momma Bear, in charge, strong. It is so hard to keep a stiff upper lip when having to do these things, but it is important to keep focus. If the diet plan is too stressful, think about what is stressful? Is it the logging, finding time to exercise? If so, remember that you need to take time for yourself also. Consider the logging time "Your Time". The exercise? Think of how much exercise you are getting by packing! Live moment by moment, and you will be okay. Blessings to you!

Hi Gabby, You are under a lot of strain at the moment. Go easy on yourself. Take it one step at a time and keep your long term priorities in mind. Losing weight may seem low priority compared to the big stuff (that would be my thinking if this much bad stuff happened to me) but on the other hand your good health and being on top of things will help you to cope with everything. Healthy living (diet, sleep and exercise) will make you feel so much more able to cope. ..... and don't feel down for too long because think of all the positives in the longer run when you have moved, your kids are settling in, your brother has made a recovery and your husband comes back home to find all in order and his lovely wife and kids settled and waiting for him.
