JM 30DS Level 2- Day 3. My arms are either going to fall off or look awesome. Plank jacks, squat thrusts, and whatever the final ab twisty thing is called make me hold myself up on my wussy arms and they are sore today, but in a good way.

FatSecret calced my RDI at 1900, I lowered it to 1500, but think I need to lower my calorie intake a bit more. The scale shot up prior to TOM, but that is over and I haven't seen the nice drop you usually see after, so I think I need to change up my diet. Next week I'm going to try to do low carb, which I hate because I'm so hungry, but I know it helps.

Your arms are going to look amazing! lol 1900? I just calculated mine on fatsecret and they told me to eat 1700. Everywhere else told me to eat 1500. I sit at a desk all day and only do barn chores for about 2 hours every night and I found out I'm only burning about 1800-2000 calories on a weekday. I would google RDI calculators and use an average if you want to know where you should target.

I thought that seemed high too, but MayoClinic gave me the same. I found a calorie calculator at that gives calories to maintain, fat loss, and extreme fat loss and also has a 7 day zig zag calorie cycle. Example S 1184, M 1184, T 1184, W 1421, T 1184, F 1184, S 1303 (this was for extreme fat loss). That seems a bit interesting.

All of those plank exercises are a killer! My upper body strength is lacking so I feel your pain. FS did mine high too, so I lowered it myself. I'll have to check into that site for the calculator. I don't think I could do the extreme fat loss, I think I'd be starving under 1200.

I know, but they are supposed to be good for your core too! I agree under 1200 I'm starving, that's why I don't stick to low carb very well, I always end up low calorie too. The zig zag for fat loss is more doable as it had me around 1500 daily.
