Ms Elizabeth's Journal, 22 March 2013

I think I'm going to create a challenge. I have goals like eliminating soda from my diet, exercising at least 5 days a week, stop eating the stupid oreos, and not cussing in front of the amish. Maybe if these goals were in a challenge that other people saw I would be more accountable. If I was more accountable I would get below 150. If I was below 150 I would do a happy dance and buy a swimsuit that fits. Right now my current swimsuit has a saggy bottom. This could be because I stretched the thing out when I was pregnant with little man.. or its because the elastic has finally given up.. or my bottom shrank. Whatever the cause is.. my reward for getting below 150 is a swimsuit so I can get in the hot tub without having a wet saggy bottom or a uniboob.

Did you know that if you have a baggy swimsuit on and you get into a hot tub that the jets give you a uniboob? No joke. I was up to a size EEE the other night. Closed my eyes.. tried to relax... heard giggling from the 9 yr old.. opened my eyes and all I saw was huge freakin boobs. I'd like to see the amish's reaction to that one!

Today I'm going to attempt 100 pushups and crunches. The crunches I can do. The pushups? Well.. if you don't hear from me ever again it's because I can no longer move my arms and you can blame it on Rhodes.

LOL, Once again my day has started with a good ab exercise due to the laughter brought on my your Journal. On the flip side. You will be fine today. The pain usually takes a couple of days to set in.

I'm a third of the way there for today... I'll admit I'm splitting them up for now so I don't die!

It's Friday and once again you've brought me wonderful laughter and the motivation to keep up with you. P.S. I know the uniboob well...LOL!

Splitting them up is the way to go. Event if you do 2 sets of 50 I would do another set or 2 throughout the day. This will keep you metabolism up and burn more of those calories. Also helps with endurance and strength. Just remember to give your muscles a rest day.

Could be worse... Since I am now only a AA my husband keeps telling people he is going to buy me implants. I keep telling him no because it would negatively affect my working out. Weird that they mean so much more to him then me.

LOL, that hilarious! That's a huge challenge to do 100 pushups. I'd die for sure at 30! Koodos to you for attempting and doing it!!! Hope you reach your goal soon that you can get the new swimsuit and get rid of the saggy bottom one!

I could do the crunches, but my push ups would be split up, and then by the end of them I'd hardly be moving my arms up and down. Good luck!! You're so close to your goal, you'll have that swim suit in no time!

The pushups are definitely a killer. I have been trying with my daughter and we had to find a website that gives you info on how to work up to push-ups using the correct form (no knees). My arms hurt so bad when I am done.

When I did my challenge in Feb to do an insane number of pushups I started with the coffee table. I would put my arms on it so my body wasn't at so much of an incline. It helps! You definitely feel it alot more than if you use your knees.
