And with that, I'm all done posting. I'm stunned at what has happened here. This site just isn't what it used to be in so many ways, not the least of which is the tone of the traffic.

I've stopped recording exercise here because the numbers are so far off. I create my own RDI because this one is way too high. Weighing in hardly matters anymore since my ticker and challenges rarely update correctly. And though the database is by far the most extensive and accurate I've seen, I'm considering changing sites altogether even for food tracking because I simply don't need the negativity.

Im sorry to hear that! You actually were so helpful for me! i ordered those shin splint things and they are helping! People are so negative sometimes towards other people its awful and heartbreaking. i just dont understand why they do and say the things they do

I also am sorry to hear that. You have a lot of knowledge that many people have benefited from. I moved over to fitbit just because I was tired of posting my information in two different places. Fitbit is not very developed yet and there really isn't a community. Good luck on your journey!

Hon, you need to stay off the boards and just seek/give support to buddies. That's what I do and don't have any trouble with the haters. Hugs to you!! Please keep posting on your journal. I'm so excited to hear about your uphill leg of the marathon. You've been an inspiration to a lot of us here!!!

I've never done much more than looked something up on the boards if I need advice or suggestions I can usually get plenty from buddies or buddies of buddies. Plus.. with just buddies I can pick who I get my advice from and not just some random a-hole. The site does have one of the best food databases I've seen.. and you can't leave! I said so.

AH! I forgot I asked that question. I had a whole-wheat English muffin with 2% American cheese, 2 strips of ready bacon, 1 egg, and two cups of coffee. That was about 2 hours before race time. It worked well. I usually don't eat enough, but this was perfect.
