Cranked it up to 12 cups of water, starting today (instead of my normal 8-10). I feel like I should just permanently duct tape my butt to a potty chair... :P

That will go away once your body gets use to the fluid, it's bad at first but then subsides. Hang in there, it could be worse!

LOL... I like that statement. Plenty of water is good, and just a matter of habit. I hope it helps you.

Sunkeeper, I hope you're right and it subsides soon...you want to hear how it could be worse? I take 2 diuretics per day (makes me go even more!) LOL
Kingkeld, thank you! It's actually reading YOUR journal that's inspired me to write something on occasion, and that was all I could come up with last night...I really need to get out more, heh.

I'm just glad they make duct tape in HUGE rolls! hehe And ya'll were right, I'm handling the situation (hmm, bad choice of words?) much better today! Feeling better, too. :)

I totally understand about the duct tape/toilet seat issue...there are days when it's 2 cups of coffee in, 5 out! lmao...glad you're doing good on the water intake, that's one area I've really been slacking on and need to get back in track with. Keep it up, and hang in there!

LOL, kmkjmomma I find that if I break it up throughout the day I hardly notice how much I'm drinking. I drink 16 oz at a time--first thing when I wake up, breakfast, lunch, dinner, a couple of hours after dinner, and bedtime. I get minimum of 12 cups in that way, NOT including a bit of coffee or diet soda I might drink. Easier than it sounds, once you're used to it!

We have one of those Brita filter things in our fridge, so whenever I'm out there, I'll grab a glass, but I don't think I'm getting 8 glasses a day - and I don't dare drink too much before bed - I wake up enough as it is without having to make a trip to the bathroom lol
