Tuesday,

Last weekend went by so fast, so did yesterday too. Kind of still busy for work so this will have to be short.

Saturday - 5K with GG, good run under the circumstances; slushy/icy streets & a whopping 5. But, we did it, we finished & nobody got hurt. We even made it on the news video, not that we were recognizable, but still it counts, I guess. Food & excercise not too bad considering.

Sunday...well what can I say, I baked, I ate.

Monday, yesterday weather was nice in the morning & street conditions were great & little Bella did 2-3 miles at least! What a trooper, you would think that would have tuckered her out, but no, not so much. Anywway, we ended up getting 5-6" of snow.

Tuesday, brings us back in the deep-freezer; wind chill for this morning doggie walk was MINUS 6, so I kept it pretty short & QUICK too.
Wally world after work, leftovers for supper. Going to be looking for porkrinds. I found a recipe for cheddar baked chicken that I want to make for tomorrow night & it uses crushed pork rinds. Confession, I have never had them.

That's it for now....hope to be back later for some very much missed journal surfing time!!

Congrats on that 5K! As for the pork rinds - I've always wondered if the oil they've been fried in does not start to partially-hydrogenize (like other deep fried food)? If I had a good answer to that I might use them more.

You have a new doggie?????? Tell me ... tell me!!! I have missed a lot in the last couple of months that I have been playing in WW's!! Too much time away! Pork Rinds used to be my friend before I got the edema thing. Lots of salt in it but people have been using this as a crust for a while now when baking chicken etc. I used to eat a whole bag instead of eating dinner when I sold Hondas. We didn't get a dinner break. Yes, I sold cars for 3 years. LOL! Hope you have a great day!!!! Hugs!!!!

GG, I'm not surprised you weren't recognizeable with the weather what it was....you must have been WAY bundled up! And yet, you still did it....good for you! I bet GG appreciates her one-on-one time with you now that Bella's part of the family. BTW....I never had pork rinds until recently either....then I found the microwave ones and I am hooked!
