Today 3/18 is the first day of the rest of my life. I started my morning with 1/2 cup of oatmeal. I will continue the rest of my day with small meals every two hours.
164.0 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 26.0 lb.    Diet followed N/A.

Sounds like you have a great plan! We are right around the same weight and have around the same goal weights! We can do this! Oatmeal is a great way to start the day!! You are doing great!

Thanks strive2bethin. Oatmeal also keeps things moving so I don't get clogged up. I know we are going to reach our goals. Being a three time cancer survivor is giving me the extra incentive I need to push myself. I am short & the extra weight causes several health issues, not to mention strain on the heart. It's nice that both of us seem to be following the same diet plan. I eat every two hours no matter what else is going on. With one of my small meals, I am including 2-egg whites. I use fried onions & a couple of slices of quickly fried tomatoes. I use wheat flat bread & make it into a wrap. Taste's really good & low in calorie.

Hi everyone. It is getting lovely out & this is one of my favorite times of the year. I enjoy walking, but the problem is learning how to cut back on my food portions. I continue to struggle with this. Walking & not cutting back on eating defeats the purpose. We are all struggling to meat our goals & reading all of your comments is such a blessing. I couldn't do this by myself. I have learned that even when you don't loose weight right away, hang in there. Keep trying. It is not easy, but I know we are going to meet our goals. Blessed weekend to all.
