Not sure if it is me or what but I am frustrated with the food entry part of this program. I had chinese food for dinner last night and most of what I had I can't even find in the database. Honestly, I just gave up. I know it was not a great idea to have the chinese food but I would still like to have know what the "damage" was. Really wish the web-site would work on that portion of the site. Anyone know if there is a way to simply write in what you ate and not worry about assigning calories to it????

When I have that problem I google it and try to find out what I can, then create a new food in the database and enter the information. At the end you can set it to 'don't share' and it will just be in your food options and not part of the database. It can be frustrating, and possibly not perfectly accurate, but at least it's close and it gets added on your totals so you have an idea of how much you ate.

I always guess. There is several PF Chang items in the database.

What they said - I guess or create - depends on how often I plan to have the meal. Recording it doesn't undo it but researching for the next time helps prepare better. Does the restaurant you dined with have a menu online?

Cool. Thanks for the feeback all. I tried some PF Chang searches and got some hits so now I know if there is a next time. FullaBella is so right not to get too hung up with the occassional meal. Weight gain and loss is not a one meal deal.
