LauPug1's Journal, 14 March 2013

BBBBBRRRRRRR, The temps have dropped considerably and of course, one of your mares foaled around midnight. Really cute, has color, but is a stud!!! Not a keeper. Calling the guy today that wants him just to let him know that his baby has been born. Going to be a busy day. Now just waiting for the next one.

WOE/WOL is going well. Starting to get really sick of salads again. I've eaten other veggies, but I just don't lose if I eat them. In order to lose, I have to eat salad. I think this is why I fail at Atkins. I love all my other veggies, it's just those salads. I've switched them up and it doesn't matter. UGh!!!!

Hope all are well.:)

Bren, no they are not harder to train, I just wanted a filly to replace her mother. Her mother is shy and hard to catch, so if we raise a baby the way we want it raised, then they are not hard to catch or shy. Your doing great at your weight loss. You just keep it up big sis and you will be healthier. Have a wonderful evening. HUGS:):)

Hey Laurie - it's soooo good to see you back!!! And glad you are doing well. I just want to remind you how exciting it was to have the weight dropping off in the beginning. Even if it's for a couple of months...eat the salads! It could be worse!! LOL! Eventually you'll get to where you can add back something here and there...but until then you might just have to be strict about it. Thanks for the encouragement on my journal!!! Missed you!

Hi Laurie, It has been months since I have been on the Fat Secret sight. I have been doing pretty good since I moved from Atkins to Weight Watchers. I am down 15 since I started WW. I am glad you are still losing. It looks like you are getting closer to goal. I have 40 to go but have had so much success staying with the WW that I am more confident about losing the 40. Sorry to hear you had a baby boy. Maybe next time she foals you will get a filly. I will try to get on the website more. I have lost track of some of you. My mother passed away in November and my dad has leukemia and has to has to have transfusions every 2 weeks. So, some of this has been lower on my priority list. But all is going well for now. You take care and stay healthy. I will try to visit more. Connie
