What a bad day, yesterday. Well, actually the morning was ok, early afternoon too. The point is that I forgot my lunch box home, so I bought a sandwich and a croissant on the way. What a bad choise! I felt hungry all afternoon, because of the white bread and the sugar blast. I felt bloated, sick and in a bad mood the rest of the day. Even falling asleep has not been as easy as it normally is. Today it's kind of "cake day" at work (using Kingkeld's words). I really cannot allow cake to myself, since I was so sick yesterday, and I still feel not completely ok. So, I will take two sliced kiwi fuits with me, in order to avoid the carb monster's attack!! :) Tomorrow I go climbing, this late afternoon swimming. If the weatheris not too bad, maybe hiking on Saturday morning, or if my muscles will be too sore, at least I'll have a walk at the outdoor market.

:( I hope the carb monster doesn't visit you today and that you are feeling back to normal. Sounds like a fun next few days planned so don't forget to get some rest too.

OH I do understand the carb monster! It is like once I allow just a tiny bit of carbs in the monster wakes up with a vengeance and I have to beat it back down. Sounds like you have a good plan today and hope the weather is nice for you!

Do you like almonds? I always keep a little bag of them on me so when that carb craving comes on I can pop a few. Good protein and really filling and I like the crunch. Plus, I have to spend an hour trying to get little pieces out of my teeth so I can talk to people so it's good mouth exercise! lol Don't beat yourself up about yesterday! You'll get back on track and feel better :)
