moondove's Journal, 12 March 2013

Well after beginning 'Lovely' prednisone, along with my benadryl for the allergic reaction. I'm down to just one side of my nose being flawed. My Ogre thinks he is being funny making up names for me. I will get not let him live it down if this happens to him! LOL! Actually he has been very good to me! :)

WW is going well. I still have a lot to learn in regards keeping my hunger pains away though out the entire day with some good nutritional filling foods. I really need to learn so more WW tricks. I do like egg whites when I make scrambled eggs or french toast. (Never thought I would say that.)

I bought a couple of walking dvd's yesterday on Amazon and sent them to my SoCal baby daughter. Whichever one she doesn't keep, I'll take and use. I am visiting her and family soon! We are gonna go dune buggy riding and some hiking in the high desert where she lives.

I also bought a digital multi-function scale (Helewis inspired) to better manage my food servings, and a nice gift for my Ogre; a music dvd by Tim McGraw: Two Lanes Of Freedom [Accelerated Deluxe Edition]. Maybe he will take me on a hot date in the Mach I and play it! LOL!

Hope Everyone had a wonderful Tuesday, and have an even more awesome Wednesday!

Awesome..your doing great...I try to incorporate a snack between meals..I like those pretzel rods..3 are 3 points..so you can have one and it is enough to stave off the hunger..and also drink all your water..some times we think we are hungry when we really need water..I'm not a expert just letting you know what works for me...:O)

I too am trying to keep the hunger pains away. Too bad food tastes so good or it would be easy, right?

Bren, Thanks for the tricks. I drink more plain iced tea than I drink water. I'll try and switch it around. :)

skwhite, I'm finding that if I have a little bit of protein between meals, it seems to ward off the hunger. I hope yours hunger monster goes away too! :)
