Can we say long weekend???? Long Day???? I have grandson (he's 2yrs old) for the whole weekend.. No pickup and he comes back the next day as always ..

Today, I took grandson and the twins to a birthday party, I was about to lose my mind..heheeee lol lol.. I had the nerve to stay for 4 hours! The twins did the standard "all over the place" routine.. but watching grandson the whole time..goodness I could barely sit down.. Needless to say when I left, the party was still going but I couldn't do it! It was time to go.. I guess I'm getting old or just tired..
I did good eating at the party there was a taco man there.. I ate carne asada and chicken w/onion and cilantro.. didn't eat the corn shells..

That was my day - hope everyone had a great low carb day! I have a slight headache will probably have a snack then lay down - that is after I get the 3 rugrats to bed!

As I said before, I don't know how you do it, gf. My days with little ones was over quite a while ago, but as you know, I'm "helping" one of my 14-year-olds babysit my niece's kids (aged 1 and 3). They got here on Thursday and will be here until next Monday night. 11 days! I'm gonna pull my hair out! LOL! So proud of you for not giving in to the temptations at the bday party. That takes a lot of control and will power. You're doing so good :)

I have no idea how you do it either. It has been a LONG time since I had little ones around and honestly, I don't know if I could handle it at this stage of the game. You are seriously my hero! Good job avoiding the "bad foods" at the birthday party!

Thank you Toni and Angie!!! It is very hard keeping up with these kids sometimes but of course I have to do it.. Sometimes I do want to pull my hair out and just purchase a damn wig!! Nerves get bad sometimes!! lol lol lol.. Thanks for the kudos on keeping to the diet.. I don't know how I did it.. It wasn't that hard this time around.. I guess this way of eating IS getting normal for me.. When I told the "taco man" what I wanted he looked at me funny because I said no shells.. heehee.. everyone else was indulging.. But I have to say if I was at one of my family's party I don't know if I could have been that good/stuck to it.. So here's to this change in the way I eat without giving it a second thought.. Now I can't speak for tomorrow - lol lol.. Thank you ladies - you all really know how to make a female feel great about her choices! Like I always say " WE ARE IN THIS TOGETHER!!"
