Salad.
I didn't have the fixin's for my lunch time salad yesterday and I got mad at myself. I have come to love my salad. I know that it makes me feel good when I eat it. It helps my digestive system, is tasty, and I really miss it when I don't have it.
Thankfully, I survived the day.
Last night, I went shopping and stocked up on all the things I love. Salad fixins, apples, raspberries. Mmmm.
We are under blizzard warning and travel advisories today. It will be a great day to make chili, and you guessed it, eat salad.
Wow. Times have changed. In the past, I would have gorged myself for the day on cookies, potato chips, and other calorie laden foods. Today I have already worked out for an hour, done two loads of laundry, the dishes, and now I am jumping back into doing my taxes.
Contented sigh.
