gg-girl's Journal, 09 March 2013

Saturday,

Got my run time in this morning with doggie-girl, 4 miles, got back just in time to take puppy-girl for her walk. Little devil she is, she poo'd, she pee'd...we get in the house, she takes a little drink & she pee'd right on the floor....true definition of puppy-hood.

Managed to have a good breakfast & not go overboard with the low carb toast. I have recognized that as a trigger for over-indulgence. I do love toast, with butter & jelly (Low carb of course)...always has been one of my favs!! Not sure if it is the toast or the jelly or the combo, but it is hard to limit myself to one serving (2 pieces)...but I DID DO IT! Food for the rest of the day is planned & logged, except for the new recipe I got from Wheat Belly for zucchini pecan bread. I intend to try that as I am always looking for new ways to use up the zucchini I have in the freezer. Hey...new idea...maybe I could do the recipe in the cook book BEFORE I make it....that would be different. Ha...LOL...sometimes I scare ME!

I think I will do that before I get "out of time"!

OMG...so glad I did the recipe, I had to do some SERIOUS re-working of my lunch & dinner to accomodate...maybe I learned for good this time? Part of me hopes it is a flop!

Let me know how it turns out....I have been seriously contemplating buying the Wheat Belly cookbook. How do you like it so far? As for puppy hood...isn't it great? There is nothing better than the smell of puppy breath! lol Have a great weekend, Dar!

Yes, VERY nice drop, there! Must be all that running after Bella to scoop her up to get her outside! Potty-training is one aspect of otherwise-cute puppyhood that I do NOT miss! Glad you were able to re-work your menu to accommodate that new recipe....anxious to hear how it turns out.

Stef, I do not have the Wheat Belly cook book, I am signed up for the newsletter & the latest had the recipe. I just put it in the oven...so we will see!

Hi Sandy, yes I have been doing lots of Bella-Scooping, both inside & OUT, LOL! She is just too darn cute for her own good.
