I am doing well. The first sunny day this month the weatherman said. It is too cloudy here much of the time. My ankles are bothering me a bit, but I hope to go for a walk. Tomorrow I may go out to eat with relatives. Spring isn't far away. My writing is going well, but I am unknown so literary agents don't want to take a chance as they would rather go with a guaranteed cash cow author. I made serious mistakes doing historical fiction and a long western first. I will focus on fantasy/sci-fi and contemporary modern day stories for the most part in the future. I am 50 now and could care less about dating. A man reaches that stage at varying ages. One female friend had a boyfriend who watched porn every minute he wasn't at work or fixing his house up. Needless to say no woman will put up with that, he had multiple girlfriends, but he had money so they would hang around til they saw what really was gong on. Have a great day everyone.

A little sun goes a long way. Have fun with the fantasy/sci-fi. I am not a fan but this is what is popular now so got to please the masses - LOL.

I have already written the first book of stories of fantasy/sci-fi - they are interesting and set in different times. A lot of editing to do there. I hate slasher/killer books and those are selling well now as are vampire and zombie books. Those books will for the most part be rotted out and forgotten in a generation or two. My father stopped dating at my age or so - around 50, he turned 69 last week. I had many girlfriends when young, but I never married so I am used to being alone. It is not like I have had someone to roll over to since I was young like most people who are obsessed with being in a relationship. I lost total interest at age 32 I think, when I went on mental health meds. I can stay home and write or go to church or go out, etc. whenever I want. An attractive neighbor told me last year she was interested (I don't live there anymore) but she has severe alcohol problems so I did not pursue anything. I am reading the Bible now and four other books, sometimes an idea will come along from the shortest of sentences regarding a story or book, etc.

Hi Bren, it has warmed up here to about 50* so spring is on the way. I have not seen a robin, but saw a whippoorwill the other day and it was very noisy, they may be a winter bird here but there is one that was outside in the tree and it was a noisy, happy one. My ankles are swelling up from the arthritis - the left one. I will soak it tonight in epsom salts. I am snacking on 100 calorie popcorn and it is enough. Thursday to the dentist. I want to go walk, but have to find out why the arthritis is in my ankles worst of all. I may need a shot there. I will weigh-in next week. I need to get to the pool at the gym and swim too to help.
