So excited about trip to UT & especially to be vacationing with both boys while there! And, the weather so far looks ok -- very windy, but no snow so far & sounds like worst may come after we fly out this evening... fingers crossed, but leaving it in God's hands (and praying for serenity as always)!
Lactose free it is! After 3 days of adding back LF dairy with no negative results, Dr Ruth's lab is happy to conclude that its the lactose causing my digestive problems, & that LF cottage cheese tastes good so will be back as a staple in my diet again. And, an accidental test really confirmed my lactose intolerance -- I had purchased Trader Joe's Guilt Free Guacamole, which I realized after the fact had greek yogurt in it. Even though I had only 1 serving & I can't imagine it contained that much yogurt, my stomach let me know that it would only tolerate lactose free dairy from now on!
Off to spin class, then will finish packing & loading & heading to the airport:)! I'll be thinking of all my wonderful FS friends while I'm away & log on when I can. And, I'll start each day as I do today, in prayer --
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference.
And throughout my trip, I'll pray, breathe, log & post as much as I can, and express each one day, meal, moment, bite & emotion at a time! xoxox
