Trying to find some better ways to cope with stress and failing miserably.

My husband has been very ill and worsening for the past year. We're still on the hunt for a diagnosis but he continues to be in pain all over, has fatigue, skin issues and now balance issues.

My oldest daughter is getting married in 3 months.

My youngest daughter has mild brain damage and we're fighting with disability about whether or not she can work (her neurologist says "Absolutely not!" but SSA still disagrees).

I'm looking forward to a day when everything has worked itself out and my life is calm.

Joy, if you ever have one of those days, please share the magic wand. I definitely empathize with you because I am my husbands 24/7 caretaker so I know the toll it takes yet I don't have the children. The hardest thing you will have to endure and remember is not to get 'survivor guilt'. Please remember you are just as important and need to take care of you in the whirlwind that is your life. I forgot and it nearly killed me. Take care of Joy and the rest will fall into place as fate deems fitting. Message me anytime - I'm here to listen.
