Out and about on the road most of the day. Then went out to dinner tried my best to keep the calorie intake down. Managed to squeeze in 30 push ups and 1 mile fast walk. Didn't start zumba today :(

You are starting to shock you body and muscles, which is what you want. In return, if you do not keep fueling those muscles (protein) they will trigger your body to start storing more fat, hense the reason we eat every 2 hours.

Walking is a great calorie burn....."TRY" adding this maneuver:
instead of letting your arms free flow with the opposite foot, keep the same side together during your stride. It is not easy.....but...
it burns more calories :))))) try to keep your heart rate up for at least 20 minutes a day during your cardio, you will get the most benifits from keeping the heart rate up as long as possible.
Keep up the consistency over the weekend...You never know when I will throw in a curve ball :)))))
