Thanks for the wonderful replies to my hunger journal yesterday; you really helped a lot. I do find Zumba a FUN and joyous experience, grinning, giggling or blushing at my misteps but keeping moving and loving it. Even if I occasionally wince in pain, I shake it off or pause a beat and then go on.

I had a talk with my partner last night, shared that journal entry first. I woke up this morning and my partner was already downstairs, helping me out by saving some of my important files off the difficult computer. I was so totally exhausted last night that it must have been scary; my partner seemed worried that I would "give up and check out early". I tried to be reassuring, but it was hard to get that across through the exhaustion.

I know it's hard for my partner to see past all the work issues and family issues complicating life, thinking that my joy at Zumba & happy stories of gym buddies, having the house somewhat clean & dinner ready means I'm doing fine. Brushed off my worries about my paperwork, saying that I say that everytime that I have to do this stuff but I always get it done perfectly in the nick of time.

Obviously, clear communication is caled for and necessary, but not always easy to follow through on when you're worried about the other person. A shared load is a lighter load, for each of us.

I'm waiting for my UPS shipment of medication, my monthly cross to bear. It left the local facility at 7:41 this morning; if it isn't here in a few minutes I'll miss my exercise class. No worries; if I miss going to the gym, I've promise myself a session with my Wii Zumba as a reward for dealing with all this paperwork. Oooh, just though of a possibility to make one difficult part of this easier!

My UPS shipment didn't come until after 6 pm. My old driver delivered it, & showed me that the pharmacy switched to a cheaper shipping which is why it doesn't come in the morning. I'm calling & giving them a piece of my mind today; all the ice packs were melted because they used next day shipping instead of overnight. That could ruin $3000+ worth of medication; they're getting an earful!
