Finishing my first official month of the insanity workout and my weight has dropped from 239.2 lbs to 228.4 lbs. Body fat percentage has decreased from 31.8% to 30.2%. I am able to keep up with Shawn T and his team during the videos with a heart rate of 150 and have a really quick recovery following the 30 second breaks. Right now I'm averaging a 7 pound weight loss per week, which I am watching carefully so that I don't go into starvation mode by eating frequently (i.e., lots of salad, chicken, lean beef, protein bars and carbs within reason).
Looking forward to starting the 2nd month of Max insanity. Once I hit 220 pounds weight training will begin. I did not believe insanity would work, but it truely is effective and fun. I would recommend it to anyone who is serious about losing weight the right way(i.e., without diet pills and fad diets).
