Hi all! I hope you are well and are not getting smacked by the storm that left over a foot on my lawn. As for me? Hmm. Where to begin?
My daughter's birthday on Sunday was a bust because we the foot of snow we received. We tried to go to a hockey game, but the interstate was a parking lot. I live in Colorado and I really wish we had drivers that understood how to drive in the snow. I am a native and it drives me crazy.
My son's headache has diminished to the point where he has small, passing headaches. We are still tracking what he eats/how he feels.
My older son moved back home last week. He wanted to quit smoking and his rommates smoke. We are also serving as his source of "normal" as we try to return him to stasis. He has bouts of depression and stuggles to accept his perceived notion that being an adult, having a job, and living life, is boring. I promise you, I never gave him an indication that there was glory in being an adult; I think he looks at celebrities and asks what they did to get where they are. He needs a hobby or something that brings him joy.
I am plodding along. I, too, celebrated my 6 month anniversary of my journey; but this time it coincides with my cycle. I am too bloated to want to measure myself - it will be depressing. I will celebrate this weekend instead.
