Had a good session at PT today. 3 different cardio machines and I worked hard at em . I was imagining kayaking with my son in a few years, or another time mountain biking in the new mexico desert with him as a teenager. My PT says research shows good cardio correlates with better brain cancer prognosis, so its full steam ahead!

A brain tumor will motivate you to work hard at exercise when you have imagery like that. Who knows how many years I have left, he turns 6 next month. 10 years, and I see him become a teenager and drive? 5 years and he's a tween? Or just a year and maybe his 7th birthday?

I do not expect fairness from life. But damn, We broke huge odds, by just conceiving him and even more by him delivering healthy. For what? his loving dad to only make it a short time longer?

I get so pissed when I see others, showing little regard for their children"s lives or even their own. my wife and I are committed to being a loving couple, to show him, day by day, good times and not, by example; how relationships should be, example of character and citizenry and how parenting should be(in our little world vision that is.

i have a good friend who lost a son in 24 hours to meningitis. her coping phrase is "oh well"

One takes on life with a strong head of wind, accepting the risks that may befall oneself.

oh well, indeed.
