Sorry I've been out of touch these past few days. I've been kind of under the weather with this cold again. Since I picked up that cough from my DD's fiance on the trip, I haven't gotten a lot of sleep, and even took yesterday off from work. I've laid off the exercising again until I feel better. Just a slow start to the year, but I'm sure I'll rebound here in the near future and won't have to worry about these bugs anymore. I get to sleep, and then eventually this flim builds up to the point it wakes me up. Then I get rid of it, and repeat the cycle, usually every couple hours. I haven't even been setting the alarm clock; it has been so consistent. However, after one of my episodes at two this morning, I fell back to sleep for 4 hours and was late getting to work. Hallelujah! I'm not really worried about getting to work late; I was happy to get the additional sleep.

I'm so excited about getting to work on the rest of the kitchen cabinets, and finishing up the kitchen, and working on the truck; I can't wait to get past this bug, and get going. It was 8 degrees (F) coming in to work this morning. They're calling for 5 to 7 inches tomorrow afternoon. I hope we get it. We've had some good rains already this year - so much better than last year. Now we just need some normal winter snowfalls. Looking forward to it.

I don't have any really heavy wisdom to lay on you this morning. I really haven't been overindulging much, but I haven't been exercising either, which means my weight loss is pretty much stagnant right now. I have noticed that when I'm not feeling great, I tend to seek out food out of boredom. That's a dangerous time. I have to keep telling myself that, whether I'm bored or not, "what I eat today will tell on me tomorrow." Sometimes I listen, sometimes I don't. But I do know that those annoying reminders keep me from eating as much. Well, hope everyone has a great and wonamous day. Toodles.

Awww... Sorry to hear you aren't well again. I understand what you mean about, eating whenyou aren't well. It's comfort and 'I'm feeling sorry for myself' food. Get better soon x

I know. It's embarrassing. Go my whole life it seems without hardly ever getting sick, and now it's been one thing after another this winter. Oh well, I'm just getting them all out of the way, so I don't get them when I get old. :) I think anyone would have gotten sick, shut up with a guy who hacked and hacked for 10 straight hours each way, inside the cab of a truck with the windows rolled up. Thanks DD & DW for making me take him with me. :) Oh well, he did help with the loading, but in light of the consequences, he wasn't cheap!

Sorry to hear you are unwell. Remember your immune system needs to recover and it takes time .You will feel better before it is. Please eat healthy don't do fluid only for a long time.Keep well

Colds suck. Hope you feel better soon. Guess your storm tonight is going to be my storm too. But I already took off a day and a half this week plus we had Pres. Day so I will have to drive the 4 miles through the mess - no big deal. I just hate that DH has to shovel which he doesn't seem to mind. I just miss home (FL). :(

Yes, thank you all. The storm is supposed to hit just before I get off work today. I'll believe it when I see it. Jenny, I think you're right; I feel better before I'm healed, and I overdo it. Just think, Susan, Arizona got snowed on; they don't even own ice scrapers. :D Dianne, I thought it was "your" fault; I guess it must just be coincidence.
