Sherillynn's Journal, 19 February 2013

Yesterday was an interesting day for me. I just did NOT feel like working out in any way, shape or form. I forced myself to go to the fitness center and after I got there, I actually worked out 40 minutes longer than I usually do. I even tried a new machine- the recumbant crosstrainer, and stayed on it for 11 minutes. I walked 5 miles prior to getting on the crosstrainer.
A week or so ago, I invested in a pair of ear buds and downloaded the IHeartRadio app to my android. I have it set to Christian Workout music and I gotta say, it really keeps me moving and motivated. Its like my mini time of praise and worship. I have to be really careful NOT to sing out loud though. Just because I can't hear anything going on around me with the earbuds on doesn't mean they cant hear me! I sure don't want people to think I am crazy!
I am off from work again today and its snowing and drifting outside. I think I'll take the 4WD in to the center today and try for another workout like yesterday.
I am so thankful for my husnad and his unexpected gift of roses the other night.
I'm thankful for a supportive and loving family.
I'm thankful for one more pound off today.
I'l thankful that my joints aren't aching like they used to and my acid reflux is GONE!

God is good.

Way to go on going to workout anyway! I usually walk with my ipod and it's full of Christian music so it's like my mini praise and worship too. I always feel so uplifted after listening to it, that and exercising. Keep up the great work!
