See, this is my problem, right here. My weight goes up and down on an almost daily basis. Two days before I joined this site, my weight was 209.2. On 17 Feb is was 204.2. This morning it was 206 exactly. Tomorrow...who knows? I really don't see weight loss short term, it's only over the long haul that any weight loss becomes obvious, because it doesn't bounce back up.

Well I'm starting a food journal today anyway. Not sure I'm going to mess around with calories yet, I just want to start the habit of recording things. edited to add-decided to go with calorie counting.

So far, I've had two slices of Canadian bacon, one egg, one mini-bagel, about an ounce or less of shredded cheese to top that off, and a small can of low-sodium V-8 juice.

LOL-just tried out the food diary option! That can get your heart pumping just trying to find everything and figure out how much and which one! GAH! I'm sure it gets easier as you go. It was useful though-it's a good tool to get a better idea of how much I really am consuming. The breakfast to me looked smallish but it was exactly the right size and number of calories. I think this tool will be a big help.
