I am a stress eater. For the last two weeks or so I decided to not log my food and eat whatever I wanted to eat. I also didn't exercise. I felt depressed. I am back on track again as of Monday Feb 18th. In my mind I thought I had gained back the 20lbs I lost but in all actuality... I only gained a pound and a half during those two weeks. (So that means I ate over 5250 calories)

I am no longer living in Hawaii for a month Feb 2014. So I lost my motivation. I might still go for a week or two but I really need the money now for a down payment on a house I want to buy.

I am remotivated to get in shape because my boyfriend and I will be going to Las Vegas the first week of April and we will be staying at the Tahitian Village Resort and Spa so I want to look good in a swimsuit a lot sooner than a year. (more like 6 weeks) so the pressure is on and this is just what I need to not lose focus and determination.

I will try not to throw my diet out the window once in vegas but I am not making any promises.

Diet Calendar Entries for 19 February 2013:

I completely understand. When I am stressed the first thing I want to do is go rummage through the kitchen. I wish I had the instinct to go exercise or clean or something other than food! That is still awesome you only gained back 1.5 pounds in that time. Way to go! Now just keep your focus, one day at a time and you will be good! Dee Dee

Thank you Dee Dee for your understanding and support. I was just telling myself one day at a time and congratulated myself for making it a whole day and a half back on track... A buddy on here has a quote: "Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels." and I find myself chanting it to myself when the bad food craving attack happens. It has helped.
