I'm older and wrinklier! I got another year older today so of course the first thing I did this morning was stare at myself in the mirror. I have some serious wrinkles. Crows feet? Yup.. Laugh lines? Yup... You should see the lines jump up all over when I crinkle my nose after checking out the crows feet!! Holy wrinkles Batman! It's amazing what can happen when your face goes from a round 190 to a leaner 154. The good news is I went from 190 to 154! Actually I was 6 months pregnant this time last year so make that 200 something. I refused to look at the weight or let them tell me what it was the second it got to 200. I would chant "It's all baby!" and cover my eyes.
I'm stronger than I was last year. Today I went to the store, drooled on some sushi, bought a salad, fingered the candy bars at the checkout, thought about stealing the pint of ice cream in checkout from the woman behind me... BUT I behaved and I didn't buy the sushi, candy bar, or ice cream.. or lick anything while I was in the store!
Tonight I think I'm going to buy myself a bodymedia calorie counter. Is it wrong to buy yourself a birthday gift? If it is then I'll be sure to use hubby's debit card instead of mine. I feel bad buying something for myself but I never buy myself anything. And.. if I know how many calories I'm burning it will probably pay for its self with the groceries I won't buy. And by this time next year I will be smaller, wrinklier, probably more insane, and I will have these things called muscles. I think I have them now.. I just have to find them. There's a hard part on my stomach right below my ribs. I think it might be an ab! Or a tumor.. or maybe its a rib... The only way I will know for sure is if I remove the fluff that's covering it.
