Hello FS buddies and members!

It is a good day. There is improvement for my son, but they will still do an MRI this afternoon just to rule out something else causing the headache. Finally. I am very happy. I realize that he had multiple concussions and post-concussion syndrome, but he recovered. I am very happy they are treating this separately. I love our Doc, but I think that he knows too much about the family and our history, and that sometimes gets in the way. Where is Doctor House when I need him?

More weight down today. Kind of odd. I quit doing the cardio work every morning and that seems to really help with my appetite. It is far easier to accept a salad for lunch when I don't feel compelled to eat the wallpaper off the walls just because I am so hungry.

I will of course re-visit working out as soon as things settle down a bit for my son. That half hour to hour of time has become too precious when I look at the mound of laundry and a sink full of dishes when I get home from the hospital each day. He is on the eighth floor of the hospital. I have contemplated using the stairs as my cardio for the day. Not a bad idea. Maybe after lunch.

My family has been super helpful picking up the slack in caring for my parents. It has been such a blessing. I am so grateful.

Ahhh. When this headache resolves for my son, it will be SO incredible. I love being boring.
