Update on Julian Bread. As you know, I used to order the #1 Carb bread from Julian Bakery. After they changed the recipe, I stopped getting it, just did not like the new formula, nor the Paleo Bread. I had forgotten about the Amazing Sourdough Bread, 60 calories, 4 net carbs. Today I picked some up at a health food store, DELICIOUS!!!!!! Since the store is about 30 miles up the freeway I will start ordering this bread directly from Julian Bakery.
They also had Walden Farms Marshmallow Dip, nice! On amazon I ordered Zero Sweet granulated, just like real sugar. My daughter told me about it. It came today. I'm off to a good start. Having a nice Valentines Day without the chocolates. :)

LOL, I am more chipper today. Stopped taking the statin last week (last attempt at it) and feel better. I was going down hill fast, muscle pain, weakness, no fun at all. I'm glad I'm here again. Love all of you dear friends!!!!

Welcome back Gigi. I've been MIA as well. I have been journaling my food but felt it wouldn't be fair to share my funk. I'm trying to get myself back together. I was happy to record a weight loss this week. Glad you found the bread! Hugs my friend!!!

I just ordered six loaves of Julian Bread BEFORE reading your comments so I am hoping that I have made the right choices. Oh well, if I didn't we will have plenty of low-carb croutons!!!! You are absolutely right...being here is the only way we seem to be able to stay true to the course. Hugs!

Good morning Gigi, glad to hear you're feeling better. It's tough to keep spirits up when not feeling good ( at least for me it is). I am so looking forward to spring just to be able to get out and walk in the warmth. Thanks for the update on the bread, glad you were able to find a replacement. Have a wonderful day. ( hugs )

Gigi....I love Walden Farms products and probably couldn't get by without them....I use the salad dressings exclusively and my "treats" always have a bit of chocolate or caramel on them. Haven't tried the marshmallow dip so will explore that on my next trip to the city. Have a great day.

Hope you continue to feel great being off the statins. That muscle pain/weakness can be one of those nasty side effects from that class of drugs. So happy you've found a good substitute bread. BTW....LOVE the new photo!!!!
