I didn't work out last night and I'm a pound heavier this morning. Since my workouts are very dehydrating this makes sense and I'm not that concerend about it. My legs are still very sore but I'm hoping to not take another day off until Saturday.

Sore muscles means your muscles are retaining water to help them heal. They get little tears in the muscle fibers and water replaces to help them heal. This can show on the scale as a temporary gain, no loss or smaller loss than usual. Google "why the scale lies" for insight in to water weight fluctuations.
