My blood sugar upon rising was 120. An hour later was back down to 90 without any intake what-so-ever.

I wasn't hungry this morning, or lunch time either, then of course 3pm rolls around and I am shaky because of it (low side of blood sugar). So, I grabbed a couple of waffles and put a dab of peanut butter on them. Lesson learned, eat regular meals, whether or not I feel like it. (I flashed on what I used to do as a teenager; that is go without eating, but I used to grab a piece of fruit. Behavioral habits sure do go way back...

I'm staying away from the evils that lurk in the freezer, and proud of myself. :)

Diet Calendar Entry for 13 February 2013:

Good thing that you're monitoring it. That's half the battle, knowing what triggers the levels to go up/down.

Hello Heather, BeckyBaby65, and BuffyBear! :) It feel it is the carbs, so I have to keep them on the lower side of WW, or I have to exercise them off, not enough exercise, higher blood sugar the next morning. Another thing, I have sleep apnea. I believe that it plays havoc with my body as well. The freezer stuff... LOL! The only thing that belongs to me are the blueberries, black raspberries, and strawberries, and whole meats. The rest, doesn't belong to me. It belongs to my daughter (34) and the 3 grandkidlings. I don't have cravings for ice cream, thank goodness!
