I feel really bad today.

On Friday a big hard spot appeared at the top of my thigh.

On Sunday I had a horribly upsetting argument with the man I love and we nearly split up.

By Tuesday the spot had developed into a boil so no swimming.

By today the boil burst and so no swimming

Tuesday and today I could not stop eating. I still feel upset and the boil has thrown me off my swimming routine.

In distress I went out and bought a load of chocolate, and then stuffed it down with a pint of tea.

The chocolate has NOT made me feel any better, only WORSE, because all the things I was miserable about still exist, plus I have the breaking of the diet to be miserable about.

We ALL do it. Use food to stuff our feelings and make us feel better. FORGIVE YOURSELF and learn from it and move forward . I used to get so angry at myself for messing up ..now Im learning to use that anger to fuel my energy to work out and get mad at my fat . Good luck and stay strong

I've been there too many times to count. I can be happy, sad, upset, or anything else and get myself junk to either celebrate or cope and I know it's not the answer. All we can do is do better today and forget about yesterday. Try to find something that you can do instead of swimming when something like that boil comes up, maybe a walk around the block just to get out. Going through this healthy change I'm sure you'll get things figured out for yourself, it may just take some time. Good luck!!

This is not the week to get upset or in fights because there are SO many temptations all around us with valentines day! Sorry you fell off the wagon. I usually hit chocolate with milk! Hang in there, I hope tomorrow is better!
