well shoot! i am never going to make it to ONDERLAND! i am so stuck! this is where i quit the last time i did atkins it seems i loose about 25 pounds then stop!!!!!! i will not quit! i will stick to this till my body gives up and decides to shrink! i had a chocolate craving last night and not nearly as good as kelli but i did hit the atkins bar i had left instead of the icecream that i knew would make me sick only at half of it that was nice at least after i got it i didn't want it any more. will have to change my eating for yesterday though

Maybe you should increse your calories-they seem pretty low. That does kick some people back into losing...just a thought :)

Hide that damned scale from yourself for a week!!! Then dust it off and try try again, you know they say a watched pot never boils. You'll be in onderland before you know it!

Don't give up. Patience does pay off. I was stuck there it seemed forever. Good for you on the craving resistance. I on the otherhand did not fare as well with my temptations yesterday. It was icecream day at work and I gave in and had a sugar free klondike bar, 22 carbs!!!! That is my daily alotment. Then at church last night they had fresh elephant ears. Just shoot me now and put me out of my misery. Scale showed it too, up 3 lbs this morning. I really need more support at home, cause they were the ones telling me "oh, it won't hurt, go ahead treat yourself, you can have one". No one telling me I shouldn't have it.

We are in the same boat you and I. Flyin along the stopped short right before 199 and my 40 goal. Sucks sucks sucks. I also did the same, screw this, if I'm not losing, I'm having something I want ( but not quiting, long haul, just my woe, all that jazz ) so I have my diet soda once a day now. And I'm with Amy, time to make a change, upping the carbs and cals and see if that spurs me. I have all the more gumpsion now, I started this, I will win this battle and show my body who's the new boss. ~ tig

ya know glowy i think i am gonna take a hammer to it i just can't seem to leave the stupid thing alone!!!! setting my self up i know! and alee i feel your pain i was offered a fruit smoothie yesterday in place of the icecream every one else was havin when i said i couldn't have the fruit the comment was well fruit doesn't have sugar in it its good for you! then they roll their eyes as if i have lost my mind and that this is all for nothing....a little home encouragement goes a long way but hey guess we will wait to see who has the last laugh right?

ok so up my calories? i guess i could try adding another meal eat 4 times a day instead of 3 but man seriously i am eating as much as i can take right now i really don't need more fat in my diet but it is so hard to eat more calories when everything you eat is low carb! i feel like a stinkin rabbit lol! i think i am going to switch sides and start routing for elmer fudd!

You can up your calories by just adding butter, coconut, olive or whatever oil you like...not necessarliy have to add anothe meal :) I put a TBS of cocnut oil in my coffee every morning-that's how I add fat and calories to my menu.

Amy, the other day I decided to add butter to my meal, plopped a good sized spoonful to it and was eating contently went it hit me that I have County Crock fake butter, no fat no cals! Got to laugh at myself for that one. 8^ ) ~ tig

restless,I know just how you feel. I didn't stall,I GAINED!! I didn't cheat,I stayed on plan. That was hard to face. I would love to have a scale bashing party,but,then I'd freak out because I couldn't torture myself with checking my weight!!LOL!!Hang in there,you WILL make it. You'll get on there one morning and the "whoosh" fairy will have visited you and you'll be in onderland!!!!

I tried to post another journal entry but it said I post too much but this is what I posted...and sorry for taking over YOUR journal LOL Starting my mornings here makes my days better...like a great cup of coffee except for the part where the coffee shoots out my nose all over my keyboard and monitor because I am laughing at...errr with Tig! :)

Woo hoo! Mission accomplished! Hehee. Coffee out the nostrils is such a pick me up! I agree with you, you all are great and make my day too. We will have to highjack her journal more often. Thank you! Will look into Say Cheese and look forward to other ideas.
