Have walked yesturday and today. Much better than doing nothing at all. We'll see how this week goes. I feel/know I could have been at 180 if I actually tried/worked harder. Going to try and at least walk as much as I can, at least once a day. Why is this so hard at times... I just feel like giving up. UGH.

Hang in there Gabby! It does take time. I tell myself the same thing "I could have been ______ if I actually tried harder." Well, we can all say that but it doesn't change anything unless we actually change our habits. So we try not to beat ourselves up over it and instead just try to make little changes along the way that will eventually become BIG changes! So keep up the walking! Walking is such great exercise! I live in a big subdivision that parts of are really mini-farms so house are fairly far apart not right beside each other. I decided last year to take a walk. I wanted to walk across one of the levees around one of the lakes. I DID IT! Then I decided I wanted to go a little further to one of the boat docks. I did that too. As I would continue to walk I would choose to go a little further to the next thing around the corner. Once I felt I could walk anywhere near then I decided I wanted to run. Hey if Forrest Gump can do it, so can I. So I'm still working on it but it's still alot better than what I used to be able to do! Here's to little changes making big things happen! You can do it!

Thanks for the words of encouragement. I appreciate it very much. :D Walking is good and I must force myself to continue. Hopefully work up to jogging/running too. LOL. But I am glad you are able to do it. Keep up the great work! :D

Check out C25K if you are interested in jogging/running. It has helped me tremendously! I do it on the treadmill but you can get the app for your phone to go outside too.

That is really good! Keep it up! I feel like if I started I would not go through with it all the way. That way I just walk/jog when I can for as long as I am not lazy. LOL.
