I have been going up and down for the last 4 months. I was diagonsed with diabetes in October. My blood sugar was 300 fasting, and a1c was 11.2. I had not been to doctors for 3 years. Lost job, and no insurance. Worked for temporary jobs, but never a chance to be hired full time. Finally found job in April, and insurance became available in october. Anyhow those 3 years were the most stressful in so many ways. My blood sugar was normal last visit to doctors before losing job.
12 weeks later, and my blood sugar is 7.2, and I have lost 7 lbs. Not great, but not bad either. Hoping to get in the 6's by next visit in May. I did very well over holidays, but have been struggling for a month. I just seem to be in a funk. I am going to go to a nutrition class starting in March, so I am hoping this will help me with my struggle, and get me on track for losing the 30 plus pounds I would like to do. Took a nice walk at lunch time yesterday. Temp was 60, and a beautiful day. It felt very good. Just wish we had more days like that. I know it will be coming soon.
Sorry for the rambling, but needed to put down on paper how I feel. Anyone out there that understands how I feel please respond.

Congrats on your achievement of lowering your A1C! And losing the 7 lbs. It's is difficult to have more than one issue to work on simultaneously!
