Late night. Long story. Today is another day.
DH is still sorting though we did talk some. He really does not want to go to therapy. He thinks the problem is "here" and "here" is where we need to sort it out not with someone else. He is examining his own "part" of this situation. Good to know he's not figuring out if I'm worth it. Offended I would think that, that I know him better.
I'm still going this morning. I'm confused.
Grateful
For gaining a little understanding about where his head is at.
For getting through another day.

Maybe he needs more time to process and he is not ready to talk yet, so going to a therapy would force him to say things he can't articulate? I think us women express our feelings and talk easily, while men seem to take forever to come to the same sharing stage. He loves you, and you two will be fine. Maybe not today or tomorrow, but you will go through this together. (((hugs)))

My husband is also in general, dead set against any therapy. It's frustrating for me because therapy has helped me so much. But I guess you just have to go from there. I am really intrigued by what Glen wrote. As I wrote in another comment, my husband and I had a hard time a few years ago. I think it comes up some times in unexpected ways but I think that it also helped us see each other as more fully human--with all the good and bad parts of that. I am glad to know you guys are inching towards more understanding.
