I am going through menopause and find it hard to lose weight. I enjoy walking but I am so tired after work that I don't feel like doing anything except crash on the couch.

Diet Calendar Entry for 12 February 2013:

If you want something bad enough, you will find a way. Otherwise, you will find an excuse. Millions of women lose weight while going through menopause. It may be slower, but you can still do it. If you don't like to exercise after work, than try getting up 30 minutes earlier and doing it. There are lot's of great workout dvds you can do in 30 minutes. Exercise gives you more energy once your body gets use to it. In fact, you actually get to the point where you miss it when you don't do it. If you go to a gym, then grab your bag and have everything you need in it and go directly after work to get it over with. You can do it!
