A little disappointed with no loss, but no gain, so I'll be alright. We are back on vitamin mania now, and I made a raw meal shake with all SORTS of good stuff in it, Hub thinks it's awful, but he doesn't care for the raw meal stuff. I like it, so it tastes just fine to me. A little gritty, but that's how most powders are. No worries. The only part that's rather odd is the color. It's totally black. Seriously. It was a half of a frozen banana, a cup of frozen peaches, a cup of frozen blueberries, the brown raw meal chocolate powder, a cup of chocolate almond milk, 6 oz each of brewed coffee and carrot juice, 1 tsp of spirulina powder and 1 scoop of wheatgrass powder. And it's black. A little greenish, but mostly black. Weird, but it's sweet and fruity, with a smidge of caffeine. I guess it's the spirulina which is a very dark green, and wheatgrass which is a medium green, and the blueberries which make any shake a rather dark purple. Whatever! It's a healthier breakfast than yesterday's, and has tons of good stuff.

Planning to hit the gym today, not sure when. My shoulders and armpits are sore today from the machines, but nothing so ouchie that I can't lift my arms.

Be SO proud of me!! When I showered around 9, I also brushed my teeth, thinking "I'll brush them now so not to tempt myself to eat anything later." IT WORKED!! Around 10-10:30, we sat down to watch Evil Dead 2 with Teen (she loved it), they had popcorn (the good popcorn not that microwave crap), and I did NOT. We have a sofa and a love seat set up "stadium style" in our movie room, they sat in back with the dog between them, and I sat up front, chewing minty gum and drinking my water. They said "you're not gonna come sit back here with us?" I said "No, You have popcorn, I'm avoiding the temptation to eat some." Yay me!

So here it is, Sunday, I'm sucking down my weird shake, typing to you guys! I might go chill out on the couch with some Big Bang Theory!

Yay YOU! for resisting the temptation! Black shake, hmmm, girl, what ever floats your boat HEHE. I have protein powder that mixes so smoothly I don't even need a blender, but I am sure it isn't the kind you use... :-) You insides are thanking you for all that healthy stuff. Hope you lose some soon! Be strong.

Popcorn, eh???? That's a tough one for me...only way I can prevent eating it, is not to have it around! Glad to hear that you did not give in...yay, you! Also your black shake sounds scrumptious....I love green shakes with spinach, apple, etc. but it will be a while before I can have any of my old shake favorites....no fruit allowed on induction...that's what I miss most. Have a great rest of your Sunday....

Oh wow, Gwen, you started over totally? TOUGH!! We did Atkins years ago and it worked, but I didn't stick to it. This one has been better for me, less fatty foods, I can still incorporate fruits and other things that Induction and even OWL won't allow. Popcorn is kinda easy for me to say no thank you to. I love it, but I HATE the junk I have to pick out of my teeth. So it's all good. I'm thinking that because I had some Skinny Girl cosmos (2) I might not lose anything tonight. But as long as I don't gain.... hmmm. we'll see...
