I didn't record my dinner last night, I was too freaking FULL. We took our walk about the time people in the 'hood were fixing dinner and such, so we smelled the unmistakable scent of charcoal and lighter fluid! This then but a bug in hubby's ear for grilling.... he grilled chicken breasts and turkey sausage, and I made a noodle side for the kiddos. Hub and I ate nothing but meat, and I was so full! I kept drinking my water and then got some chewing gum to help the digestive process along. By bedtime I felt much better. However, that derailed any loss that might have taken place. At least there was no GAIN! I'm thankful for that.
Today has not started much better, dietarily speaking only (I woke up with my boyz lying on/around me and purring)... Darn that awesome guy at my Starbucks!! He likes me enough to give me a piece of classic coffee cake today... yes, GIVE. I didn't order it. But, he sees me regularly and we have a nice little rapport going. SUPER nice guy, funny, and just makes you feel appreciated as a customer. So, instead of ziploc bagging that bad boy, I consumed. Which once I recorded in my journal made my eyes pop out of my head like a Looney Tunes cartoon... With only breakfast under my belt (tee hee), I am now MORE THAN HALFWAY to RDI. There's the pudding, folks. Pastry = BAD. Delicious, but dangerous. Here's my justification for proceeding thru Badfoodville: it's early. I WILL be hitting either the pavement for a walk or the gym for a harder workout. (probably the latter-I'm tired of paying for not going)
As for the rest of the day, I'll just keep it much lighter, salad, lite/ff dressing, or the like. I have some greek vegetarian patties in the freezer, chickpea and spinach. They're DELICIOUS. Got them at Costco if anyone's interested. Each pattie is 120 calories and if not vegan, it's at least vegetarian (I don't have the box anymore, put them in a ziploc with the heating instructions). I put just a tablespoon of fat free ranch across the top of it, and eat. YUMMO!
Ok, I had planned to be way more focused on work today, and here it is 9:35 am and it's just not happened yet. Groan. It's FRIDAY and I'm SO not feeling work... I guess I'll get to it now so I can end the day a little faster... Everyone have a GREAT Friday and an even BETTER weekend!
Grateful for: Friendly baristas knowing my limits and capabilities not being overly sensitive but being compassionate WEEKENDS! Formulating a plan... (gears turning) my hubby and my girls and my dogga and my kitties...

Yeah, gotta cut out the ff/sf pre-packaged stuff!! It's a killer for added ingredients. If there's one thing I learned from Atkins, you GOTTA read the labels. Good luck!
